I am very impressed with this notebook - I would NOT have bought it without talking to the store owner, who was very helpful in guiding me through different papers I had not previously tried. After discussing how I like a wider nib and like a very "juicy" ink flow, he recommended this 120g paper and I cannot describe how impressed I am by the lack of show-through on the back of the page. I have used a Broad Lamy nib, a Medium Kaweco nib, and also did some serious ink swatching on a couple pages to admire two new Robert Oster inks I bought from Florida Fountain Pen during the same visit. Even with multiple layers of ink and very saturated areas, I can only see anything AT ALL on the other side if I hold it up to a light. Or just a hint that something is on the other side when laid flat in the notebook, but not enough to stop me from writing on the back of the paper. I can't wait to visit the store again when I am in town to try more recommendations from Joe!
