It usually takes less than that, but we like to err on the safe side. The Pilot Custom Urushi in Vermillion is a very popular fountain pen. It is a very large pen and is made of Japanese ebonite and is coated with pure Urushi laquer applied by artisans in Japan. If you want a different nib please email us and we will make every effort to get it to you from Pilot as soon as it is available. Comes with a Pilot ink cartridge and a Con 70 converter.  Available in 3 nib sizes the fine/medium, medium and broad. The 18kt nib is smooth and has a slight bounce making it a pleasure to write with.
